A leading health monitoring system developer needed help integrating their application with the Hospital Information System (HIS) using Health Level Seven (HL7). We first developed a pilot to test the concept and also to ascertain the end-user requirements. Once this pilot was approved, we developed the full scale system which was able to communicate with all the leading HIS systems.
In addition to this application, the client also asked us to help develop a web application that would allow users to access the reports generated by the monitoring system.

Higher Education
A leading educational institution asked us to help design a scalable, robust architecture to support a web application. The application would allow students to register online for their classes and get their results at the end of the term. Our consultant helped them design a distributed architecture based on CORBA that was integrated with Kerberos security and the legacy registration system. When fully implemented, the system was able to support 3,000 simultaneous sessions for a user community of 37,000.

Telecommunications
One of the largest local telecommunications company in the U.S. needed help preparing their billing and fulfillment systems for their entry into the long distance arena. Our consultant stepped in to quickly integrate their legacy billing and fulfillment systems with the new long distance infrastructure. With our consultant's help, they were able to complete the integration on time, successfully meet regulatory requirements, and launch their long distance service.
